How to Change Your Instagram Username & Display Name on the Web
Changing your Instagram username or profile name is very similar in the desktop version using a web browser to how it’s done in the mobile app. If your Instagram is tied to your Facebook, changing the name will take you to Facebook’s site to edit it. Editing the username on iPadOS (and likely iOS), requires you to tap Done after writing in a new one. Alternatively, you can click the small Profile picture in the far upper-right corner and then select Profile from the menu that appears. To change your Username, type your new name in the Username field.
