What to Do if You Don’t Have Your Remote
You clearly need a remote if you want to connect your Fire Stick to Wi-Fi, but there are a few workarounds. If you’re currently using your Fire Stick with a wired Ethernet connection, you can use the Fire TV Stick app on your phone as a replacement remote. To do this, the Fire TV and your phone have to be connected to the same network.
