Delete a Calendar in the Calendar App
You can remove an iCloud, subscribed, or Google calendar from your iPhone easily from right within the Calendar app. If you do not see the Delete Calendar option described here, go to the next set of steps to Delete a Calendar in Settings.
Delete a Calendar in Settings
For some calendars like Exchange, Yahoo, or business accounts set up with Google, you’ll need to head to your Settings app to disable the calendar. These accounts do not display the Delete Calendar option in the Calendar app in the steps above.
Add a Calendar on iPhone
If you have a change of heart about a calendar that you’ve removed, you can add it back depending on whether you deleted the account entirely or just the Calendar; follow one of the sets of instructions below.
Add a Calendar for an Existing Account
If you continue to use an account for other purposes like Mail or Notes, you can re-enable the Calendar toggle. You should then see your addition in the Calendars list of the Calendar app.
Add a Calendar for a New Account
Maybe you have a brand new account that you want to use on your iPhone. You can set it up to use the calendar and include items like Mail and Contacts if you like. You should then see your addition in the Calendar and any other apps you enabled during the setup process.
Add a Subscribed Calendar
You may wish to add a calendar for a sports team, school, or organizational schedule. Before you can add it to your iPhone Calendar, you’ll need the web address (ICS file). So, grab that information and then follow these steps. You should then see your addition in the Calendar app in the Subscribed section of the Calendars list.
