How to Reset Your Pixel Buds to Factory Defaults

Luckily, you won’t need a computer, tablet, or phone to reset your Pixel Buds. All you’ll need is the Buds themselves, their case, a charging cable, and about a minute of free time. Once you’re ready to go, the process is simple.

Troubleshooting Pixel Buds Issues

You can address most issues with a reset, but you cannot fix all issues this way. If you’re experiencing connectivity issues, make sure the Pixel Buds and the charging case are fully charged before trying to connect, as a low battery can sometimes cause connection problems. Whatever device you’re trying to pair to your Pixel Buds, make sure the device’s Bluetooth is enabled. If it’s not enabled, your Buds won’t be discoverable as a Bluetooth device. Switching Bluetooth on and off on the device you’re attempting to pair your Buds with can also resolve issues pairing. Lastly, if you haven’t recently, update your Pixel Buds firmware.
