As Lenovo notes in a press release, there are four new models in all, including the Legion 5i (with two screen sizes), Legion 5i Pro, and the Legion 7i. You’ll be able to take advantage of new ray-tracing technology with all of these systems, giving you deeper shadows and reflections for the latest games. Both models offer up to 165 Hz on QHD screens with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The Legion 5i 15-inch will sport up to a 2K screen at 2560 x 1440, All three systems will also offer up to 32GB of memory, while the Legion 5i 17-inch will cap at 16GB and an FHD 1920 x 1080 display at 144Hz. One of the biggest upgrades to the latest Legion laptops is Lenovo Legion Coldfront 3.0, the PC-maker’s thermal cooling system. The company claims that it provides an increased airflow of 18% over the previous generation, allowing for lower system temperatures without any performance throttling. Lenovo’s Legion AI Engine also can help deliver higher framerates by reducing in-game lag. The final announcement detailed in Lenovo’s press release is the Legion Y25g-30, a new 360Hz gaming monitor which Lenovo claims is a “game-changer for competitive esports play.” The new monitor works with Nvidia G-SYNC and Nvidia Reflex to deliver a display without screen-tearing and motion blur, giving users as low latency as possible. The Legion 7i will launch at a starting price of $1,769.99, while the 5i Pro starts at $1,329.99. Both Legion 5i (17 and 15-inch variations) will start at $969.99.
